Software development is a bit of a black box for what we call non-technical people. They don’t fully understand the creative aspect, but they are often responsible for the result. This leads to some horribly counterproductive management styles that are all over the place.

Most teams don’t seem to deliberately pick their next focus point. And so the magical F-word appears again. Prioritization without focus is weak. If we were planning a road trip and I would give you an ordered list of the destinations, would that be fun? Or would you want to know the local attractions? The reasons WHY we are going there?

Since most teams have trouble focusing, I’ve written an e-book to help them do just that.
